Carlos Rodríguez-Lluesma is a professor of people management at IESE Business School since 1999. Over the years, he has taught full-time at IESE and has been invited to lecture at several institutions, including The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC), IPADE (Mexico), PAD (Peru), UTEC (Peru), ESE (Chile), IEE (Costa Rica), IEEM (Uruguay), AESE (Portugal), and the Timoney Leadership Institute (Ireland). He has designed in-company programs for major companies such as Roche, Microsoft, HP, and many others. His teaching specialties include high-performance virtual teams, collaborative innovation, and the relationships between technology, digital transformation, and people management.
In addition to his teaching role, Carlos has provided consultancy services to multinational corporations, SMEs, and the public sector across various countries in Europe and America. His clients include Gamesa, Lavazza, Chemo, and others. His consultancy focuses on strategic human capital management, working closely with senior management to define and communicate the company’s purpose at all levels through alignment in management systems and radical cooperation.
As a researcher, Carlos has studied various organizations worldwide, particularly their dynamics of virtual collaboration and global leadership. He has published two books and numerous articles in academic journals and executive publications such as Organizational Dynamics, Communication Monographs, Business Ethics Quarterly, Engineering Studies, and Forbes.
Carlos Rodríguez-Lluesma is married and a father of eight children.
